A.C.T.S. of Mercy

A.C.T.S. has proven to be a helpful acronym for improving my prayer life and relationship with my Abba, Father.  Mercy is what I continuously see, as I pray this way.

Adoration:  Here I speak love language to God.  I tell Him who He is and what He means to me.  As I do, His love and mercy wash over me.

Confession: I confess my sins which have become even more obvious as I spent time in Adoration.  I receive forgiveness.  I witness His mercy.

Thanksgiving:  It is easy to be thankful after receiving forgiveness.  So thankful for His work of Grace in my life.

Supplication:  Here I lift the people in my life before the Lord.  Often asking for God’s mercy in their lives.  What a blessing to see God work in the lives of those I pray for.

I am linking with Lisa-Jo Baker at Five Minute Friday.  The prompt is mercy. The goal is to write for 5 minutes without stopping, fixing, or fussing.
